High Conductivity Copper Grades
Copper T2 / C1100 grade
High-purity copper (Cu ≥ 99.9%)
Excellent electrical and thermal conductivity.
Applications: busbars, cables, transformers, and general electrical components.
Copper TU1 / C10200 grade
Oxygen-free copper with minimal oxygen content, delivering superior conductivity (≥101% IACS)
Freedom from hydrogen embrittlement.
Applications: vacuum devices, high-reliability electronics, and precision instruments.
Copper TU2 grade
Oxygen-free copper offering high conductivity (≥100% IACS) with tighter purity control than T2.
A cost-effective alternative to TU1 for demanding electrical and electronic applications.
Weldability & Corrosion-Resistant Grades
Copper TP1 / TP2 grade
Phosphorus-deoxidized copper
Excellent weldability and strong resistance to hydrogen embrittlement.
Applications: heat exchangers, refrigeration tubing, and piping systems where brazing or soldering is required.
Specialty & High-Performance Grades
Copper LC1100 grade
High-conductivity copper alloy with improved mechanical strength
Applications: precision electronic components and applications requiring both conductivity and structural integrity.
Copper TAg0.1A grade(Silver-bearing copper)
Copper with a small silver addition (≈0.1%) that significantly raises the softening temperature, maintaining strength and conductivity under prolonged heat exposure.
Applications: motor commutators, overhead contact wires, and high-temperature electrical contacts.
Copper Plate Temper / Condition
O60 (Annealed / Soft) — Maximum ductility for bending, deep drawing, and forming operations.
H01 / H02 / H04 / H06 (Work-Hardened) — Progressively higher strength through cold working; H01 is lightly hardened, H06 approaches full hard. Per ASTM B152/B187.
Y (Hard) — High strength with reduced ductility, used where rigidity and dimensional stability are required.
R (Hot Rolled) — As-rolled condition, typically available in thicker gauges for structural components and further processing.
M / M20 (Semi-hard): Balanced strength and ductility, suitable for general structural use.
FAQ about Copper Plates
1. What is the best copper grade for electrical conductivity?
C1100 (ETP copper) and T2 copper are the most commonly used grades due to their high conductivity and good processing performance.
2. Can you provide custom sizes for copper plates?
Yes, we offer fully customized thickness, width, and length based on your requirements, including precision cutting and machining.
3. What industries use copper plates the most?
Copper plates are widely used in:
Power and electrical systems
New energy (EV & solar)
Industrial equipment
Electronics manufacturing
4. Do you provide Mill Test Certificates (MTC)?
Yes, all our products come with MTC and full traceability to ensure quality compliance.
5. What are T2 TU1 TU2 and their difference?
T2, TU1, and TU2 are all typical grades of copper defined under the Chinese national standard (GB/T 5231). They belong to the category of purple copper (i.e., pure copper or industrial pure copper) and are primarily used to specify composition and performance levels of high-purity copper materials. T2, TU1, and TU2 main difference are:T2: Oxygen-containing copper (No. 2 copper), but TU1, TU2: Oxygen-free copper (No. 1 and No. 2 oxygen-free copper)
