6063 Aluminum Extrusion Solid Bar T6/T651

6063-T6/T651 solid aluminum extrusion bar is a heat-treated extruded aluminum product, used for CNC machining, lightweight structures manufacturing. It is produced by forcing heated 6063 aluminum billets through extrusion dies to create solid round bars, square bars, and flat bars with consistent dimensions and smooth surfaces.

The 6063 aluminum alloy mainly contains magnesium and silicon, which provide:

  • Good extrudability

  • Excellent corrosion resistance

  • Smooth surface finish

  • Good anodizing performance

  • Reliable weldability

After extrusion, the material undergoes heat treatment to achieve T6 or T651 temper conditions.

  • T6 temper improves hardness and mechanical strength through solution heat treatment and artificial aging.

  • T651 temper further relieves internal stress by controlled stretching, helping improve machining stability and reduce deformation during CNC processing.

Because of these characteristics, 6063-T6/T651 solid aluminum bars are widely used for precision machining and lightweight structural components.
